Kau Pak Kwan – Chairman of the Board and acting Chief Executive Officer

Kau Pak Kwan himself is the inventor of Kingsoft Office and one of the founders of Kingsoft. Kau served as the President of Kingsoft in 1998 after a placement was closed with Lenovo; he is now the Chairman of the Board at Kingsoft.
In 1984, Kau Pak Kwan graduated from the PLA National Defense Science and Technology University with the degree of Management Information Systems. In 1996, he received the title "Honorary Professor" from the university and then again in 1999 from Northern Jiaotong University.
In 1995, Kau Pak Kwan received the award of "Outstanding Contribution in New Technology of Zhuhai". In 1998, he received the "Canton's New Technology Award". He was also elected as "CCTV China's Top Ten Entrepreneurs" in 2000 and "China's Top 10 IT Figures" in 2001. |
