In 1997, Kingsoft officially released Kingsoft Power Word. Now with over tens of millions of current users worldwide, Kingsoft Power Word is the most famous Chinese to English, English to Chinese translation software in the world.
In December 2005, Kingsoft launched the website “I Love Power Word” (www.iciba.com) designed to advertise Kingsoft Power Word product line. The website is focused on an online community for English learners, providing learning tools such as the online dictionary, translation, and sample sentences. As of October 2006, there are over 1 million registered users. The website has been the most popular English learning online community, and has effectively strengthened the Kingsoft brand name.
In January 2006, Kingsoft launched “Net of the Wanderers” (www.xoyo.com) designed to advertise our Kingsoft online games. The website consists of many game related features including Q&A, Blog, Photo Album, and Union; and has created a platform for information exchange among game developers, operators, and players. With over 10 million registered users, the website also serves as a promotional platform for Kingsoft’s online games. |
